Some pretty outrageous claims are being made on how much money you can save for your organization; anywhere from 20 to as much as 75%. How does someone differentiate the shills from the trusted sources?

First, you need to be personally invested in doing the right thing for your organization. Second, although a healthy dose of skepticism is good, dismissing available resources would be a missed opportunity. Finally, the cost of the information does not always correlate to its quality or relevance.

While these venues often offer valuable information, some of the points need to be challenged on occasion. We will question these reports, raise the level of the conversation, and create greater awareness. Our audience is CIOs, VPs, Directors, and Managers looking for new ideas and a fresh viewpoint. We will call attention to published information that we feel is valuable and discuss its strengths and weakness. Our goal is to hold firms accountable where necessary and encourage our audience to demand a better product.

Our latest blog entries are about Aberdeen's report on Quick Fixes to Cut Telecom Costs. Please feel free to comment, provide content or ask a question to help your peers out there.
